Personal Experience
Eboni Ogunseinde was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Houston in 2008 to attend the University of Houston where she majored in English Literature and minored in Interpersonal Communications. Eboni always wanted to become a Family Law attorney because of her desire to help others in their times of need. During her junior year at U of H, she completed her first internship in the 257th District Court in Harris County, Texas, and that internship solidified her desire to become a Family Law attorney. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she decided to remain in Houston to attend The Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she obtained her law degree.
While in law school, Eboni served as a Student Attorney in the Family Law clinic where she assisted clients in the divorce process. As a law student she also completed multiple internships in Family Law Courts and law firms in the Houston area and passed the Texas Bar Exam before graduating.
Eboni prides herself on her empathetic yet straight forward approach with her clients. Her compassion makes her clients feel heard and comfortable enough to open up, while her honest approach provides the transparency her clients need to make informed decisions.
Eboni was recognized by National Black Lawyers Top 40 under 40 for 2022 and nominated as a Super Lawyers Texas Rising Star for 2023 and 2024. Eboni is married and a mom of two toddler boys and relies heavily on her faith to guide her through life. In her spare time, she loves reading, writing poetry, and binge-watching Court TV.
